Ever wished for a book club without the pressure of discussions or reading assignments?

The 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6 PM - 8 PM Origin Coffee Co hosts the SaraPlacid Chapter of Silent Book Club a unique and unstructured book club - no pressure to finish a certain book or have discussion questions ready. The SaraPlacid Chapter alternates meetups at Origin Coffee Co.’s Lake Placid and Saranac Lake locations each month.

At Silent Book Club, there is no assigned reading. You bring whatever book you are currently reading to our monthly meetup. There will be time to order a drink (preview menu), chat, and find a seat before settling in to read companionably with fellow book lovers! All are welcome.
